Victoria Theesen

Victoria 'Liz' Theesen, 67, of 1602 Westwood Terrace, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at her home.

Rosary will be Tuesday, March 23, 2004; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 24, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Theesen was born January 24, 1937 in Langdon, Missouri to John Ernst & Helen Anne (Egner) Baudendistel. She grew up in Hastings and Grand Island, Nebraska and graduated from St. Mary's Cathedral High School in 1955. On February 11, 1956, she married Arllen L. Theesen at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Island, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2001. They moved from Central City, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1962. She was a homemaker and a secretary at Morton Elementary School. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Altar Society, 2nd's for Life and Catholic Daughters of America. She volunteered for the Red Cross Bloodmobile, St. Michael's Funeral Committee and Mary Lanning Auxiliary.

Mrs. Theesen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arllen, son, Kevin Lee and a brother, Donald Baudendistel.
