Virginia Daugherty

Hastings resident, Virginia E. Daugherty, 69, of 524 Lane J., Good Samaritan Village, died Sunday, July 14, 2002 at her home.

Memorial services will be Thursday, July 18, 2002; 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Chapel, Good Samaritan Village with Pastor Neil Vik officiating. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska. Luncheon at Senior Center, Good Samaritan Village, Thursday, July 18, 2002; 12:30 P.M. following graveside service.

Virginia E. Daugherty was born May 4, 1933 in Hastings, Nebraska to Ray & Hilda (Krug) Lyon. She married Jewell Tomjack on May 11, 1951 and in 1972, she married Roger Daugherty in Hastings, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska. She moved from Blue Hill, Nebraska to Good Samaritan Village in 1997.

Virginia E. Daugherty was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roger Daugherty.
