Virginia Mandrell

Former Hastings resident, Virginia Rose Mandrell, 83, of Good Samaritan Center, Wood River, Nebraska, died Friday, March 3, 2006 at St. Francis Medical Center, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, March 8, 2006; 10:00 A.M. Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. Private family burial at a later date. No viewing or visitation.

Ms. Mandrell was born December 11, 1922 to Harry W. & Mayme (Smith) Mandrell in Harrisburg, Illinois. She graduated from Fremont High School, Fremont, Nebraska. She moved to Omaha, Nebraska, then to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a child caregiver. She was currently living in Wood River, Nebraska.

Ms. Mandrell was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Mandrell.
