Vonna Klatt

Hastings resident, Vonna "Jeane" Klatt, 93, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, October 30, 2014; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Mary Lanning Healthcare.

Jeane was born August 4, 1921 in Byron, Nebraska to Arthur & Katheryn (Sisson) Hayes. After graduating from high school she attended two years of business school. Jeane married Harold P. Klatt on February 20, 1943 in Hastings, Nebraska; he preceded her in death on November 12, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Eastern Star Acacia Chapter #39, Daughters of the Nile, life member of Mary Lanning Auxiliary and WELCA.

Jeane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold P. Klatt; sister, Verda Wehrman; and brother, Vayle Hayes.
