Walburga Brown

July 21, 1918 — October 15, 2008

Hastings resident, Walburga "Wally" Brown, 90, of 607 East 4th died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Friday, October 17, 2008; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel with Pastor Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2008; 1pm-9pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church or Children's Ark at Good Samaritan Village.

Walburga "Wally" Brown was born July 21, 1918 in Gosper County near Arapahoe, Nebraska to Herman & Marie (Wendland) Weber. On January 13, 1942 she married Glen Brown in California and he preceded her in death on October, 25, 1984. Wally held many jobs; most importantly she was a foster grandparent for the Children's Ark at Good Samaritan Village. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and past member of several church groups.

Walburga "Wally" Brown was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glen, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
