Walter Hoefer

August 1, 1922 — October 19, 2002

Rural Adams County resident, Walter Paul Hoefer, 80, died Saturday, October 19, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Wednesday, October 23, 2002; 10:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5500 W. Oak Ridge Road, Hastings, Nebraska with Les & Bonnie Larsen officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Adams County.

Walter Hoefer was born August 1, 1922 in rural Adams County to Gerhardt & Meta (Kothe) Hoefer. He attended Kelly School in rural Adams County, Nebraska. He never married. He farmed and raised cattle his entire life. He was a life time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he held various offices thru the years.

Walter Hoefer was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Arthur, John & Elmer, 2 sisters, Ella Frisch and Martha Hinrichs and 1 niece, Mary Lou Hinrichs.
