Walter Kepford

Hastings resident, Walter F. Kepford, 45, of 1200 North Lexington, #1, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska following a 10 month lingering illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 13, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. No visitation or viewing. Booking signing Friday, October 12, 2007; 9am-9pm at the funeral home and 1 hr. prior to services, Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the church.

Mr. Kepford was born March 13, 1962 in Red Cloud, Nebraska to Raymond & Margaret A. (Haller) Kepford. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1980 and from Central Community College in 2006. He had been a manager of Gas N' Shop. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and bowling. He had the nicest smile and will be deeply missed.

Mr. Kepford was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, grandparents, three aunts and one uncle.
