Walter 'Walt' W. Morse, 84, of 1311 E 7th, died Wednesday, August 13, 2003, at Perkins Pavilion in Hastings, Nebraska.

There will be private family viewing and services.

Walter 'Walt' W. Morse was born February 22, 1919 in Liberty, Kansas to Ralph and Grace (Coffey) Morse. He married Phyllis O. Gellinger on November 30, 1937 in Centralia, Kansas. She preceded him in death on March 14, 1998. He served in the Army during World War II from November 27, 1942 until January 2, 1946. In 1964, they moved from Lincoln, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska. He worked for the Nebraska Public Power District as a dispatcher from 1958 until 1978, when he retired.

Walter 'Walt' W. Morse was preceded in death by his wife, 1 son, 1 daughter, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.
