Former Kenesaw resident, Wauneta C. Kroll, 89 died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Friday, May 30, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Juniata, Nebraska with Pastor Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, rural Juniata, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran Church or Alzheimer's Association. Visitation at Butler Volland chapel will be Wednesday, May 28, 2008, 5pm-9pm, Thursday, May 29, 2008, 9am-5pm, 7pm-9pm with family present and Friday, May 30, 2008 one hour prior to service at the church.
Wauneta C. Kroll was born December 9, 1918 in Adams County, Nebraska to Gustav & Augusta (Berndt) Hermann. She graduated from Christ Lutheran Grade School and attended Kenesaw High School. She married Delmont G. Ruhter on August 31, 1941 and they later divorced. She did janitorial work at Christ Lutheran Church, cooked at the Wood River Country Club, Union 76 Truck Plaza and was a homemaker. She loved to garden. On October 25, 1991 she married Victor M. Kroll and he preceded her in death.
Wauneta C. Kroll was preceded in death by her parents, husband Victor, two sisters, Marie Finnigsmier, Esther Burr and a step-daughter Dianna Lockwood.
