Waynard Colburn

Waynard E. Colburn, 89, of Blue Hill Care Center, died Thursday, November 7, 2002 at Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, November 11, 2002; 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Dan Heuer officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska.

Waynard E. Colburn was born November 30, 1912 in Adams County, Nebraska to Ray R. & Elizabeth (Hansen) Colburn. He married Ernestina Kuehn on June 5, 1938 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska. She preceded him in death in 1982. He farmed in the Glenvil, Nebraska area and moved to Hastings, Nebraska in1998. In May, he moved to Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Waynard E. Colburn was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ernestina, sons, Wayne & Deryl and 2 granddaughters, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
