Wayne Edward Colburn, 61, of 9650 So. Main, Holstein, Nebraska, died Thursday, March 1, 2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital

Services will be Monday, March 5, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Harold King officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska.

Wayne Edward Colburn was born November 30, 1939 in rural Adams County, near Ayr, Nebraska to Waynard & Ernestine (Kuehn) Colburn. He graduated from Glenvil High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1961. On September 5, 1964, he married Katharine 'Kathy' Elsberry. He retired from Western Land Roller after 36 years and later worked for T-L Irrigation. He lived in the Glenvil, Nebraska area and for the last 12 years, resided in Holstein, Nebraska. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Holstein and an honorary member of V.F.W. in Hastings, Nebraska.
