Wayne John Miller

Hastings resident Wayne John Miller, 87, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE. 

Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Father Jeremy Hazuka officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Wayne was born April 17, 1937, in Roseland, NE, to Alfred and Angeline (Hoffman) Miller. He married Janice Rocker on January 3, 1957, in Great Bend, KS. He worked as a construction superintendent. Wayne was very talented, he built numerous roads in Nebraska and Colorado and loved to build wagons and stagecoaches in his free time. He enjoyed puzzles, camping, and spending time with all of his family. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ralph Miller, Ray Miller, Louis Miller, Joyce Schlachter, Yvonne Mangers, Carol Lantz, and Danny Miller.
