Wayne R. Millhollin, 86, passed on March 22 due to complications of heart failure.
Wayne was born to Charles and Edna Millhollin on February 23, 1923. After enlisting in the Navy, he graduated from Naval Air Training in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1944 and served his country as a Navy pilot. While attending Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa he married and moved to Corning, Iowa in 1946. He owned and operated the Oldsmobile-Studebaker dealership before making his home in Hastings in l961.
Soon after moving to Nebraska, Wayne became an independent State Farm Insurance Agent. He was well known for not only his outstanding customer service, but his ability to turn customers into life time friends. When he retired, he worked at Hastings Keno where he established many more valuable friendships with both customers and co-workers. Wayne always made everyone he met feel special. He always found the good in everyone and made each one aware of just how important they were in his life.
Throughout his life, his children and grandchildren remained his primary focus. He left behind a legacy of love and laughter; one that can never be replaced. He was a giving and thoughtful father, grandfather and friend who never talked about the many things he did for others.

Cody and Bryce Damrow of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Edna Millhollin and five brothers, Wayne is also survived by a
sister
Betty Smith (Ron) of Manhattan Beach, California,
brother
Lyle Millhollin (Marcene) of Greenfield, Iowa along with his
many special nieces and nephews

Friends are invited to attend the 'Celebration of Wayne Millhollin's Life' luncheon that will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 1:00 p.m. at Hastings Keno South Meeting Room located at 1216 West 'J' Street (Highway 6) Hastings, Nebraska.
Memorial funds in memory of Wayne's life can be made out to "You're Not Alone," a Christian based foundation for parents and loved ones of addicted children and adults, and sent in care of Kimberly Shursen 6200 EP True Parkway #604 Des Moines, Iowa 50266.
