Wilbur Cox

Bladen resident, Wilbur Jahn Cox, 61, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 1, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. and Sunday, April 2, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. with family present on Sunday at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home, Hastings. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family and will be donated based on Wilbur's and the family's wishes.

Wilbur was born June 9, 1955 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Wilbur Leon & Elaine (Jahn) Cox. He married Sally Marie Meyer on April 4, 1981. Wilbur worked for Dana Perfect Circle, Hastings Regional Center, Russ's IGA, Village of Bladen, and most recently for 15 years at Mary Lanning Healthcare as Power Engineer Third Class - Plant Manager Certification.

Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Daniel & Imogene Meyer; sisters, Judy & Nancy; brother, Jeff; nephew, Mark Gent; and brothers-in-law, Robert Lawhead & Scott Callahan.
