Wilda Pfeifer

Wilda Louise Pfeifer, 82, of Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings Village died Friday, August 7, 2009 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Wednesday, August 12, 2009; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2009; 1:00 - 9:00 PM family present 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery rural Adams County. Memorials may be given to the family.

Wilda Pfeifer was born December 12, 1926 to Fred & Lillie (Penn) Turman in Benkelman, Nebraska. She was a graduate of Benkelman High School and moved to Hastings in 1946. She married Arno Pfeifer on March 10, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2004. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for Hastings Public Schools and also worked at the Martin Luther Thrift Shop. Wilda was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, WELCA, Bible study groups and Cursillo.

Wilda Louise Pfeifer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arno Pfeifer, grandson, Aaron Rabbe and two brothers.
