Yula Mae 'Babe' Conway, 91, of #15 Village Drive, Hastings, Nebraska, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Rosary will be Saturday, March 9, 2002; 9:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Yula Mae 'Babe' Conway was born July 29, 1910 in Dayton, Ohio, to Henry H. & Helen (Smith) Conover. She was a sportswear buyer and professional model for Rickes Cumler for 10 years, retiring in 1942. She was also merchandise manager at Kerr's in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before moving to Hastings, Nebraska in 1949. On June 12, 1955, she married James D. Conway and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1990. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Altar Society, Mary Lanning Hospital Auxiliary where she served as manager of the 'Pink Elephant', Infant Welfare and Hastings Civic Symphony.
Yula Mae 'Babe' Conway was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James.
