Yvonne Weeks

Juniata resident, Yvonne E. Weeks, 83, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Thursday, July 7, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska.

Mrs. Weeks was born August 20, 1921 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Henry A. & Cecilia (McCormick) Brown. She graduated from Berman High School, New Orleans, Louisiana. On June 7, 1946, she married Gaylon Weeks in Omaha, Nebraska and they moved to Juniata, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1970. She worked at the Hastings Regional Center for 19 years. She was a homemaker and attended Juniata Community Church. She was member of Dorcas Circle, American Medical Record Association and a charter member of Juniata American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gaylon, two brothers and five sisters.
